Scott Sampson is a twenty plus year IT executive with a background in all areas of cloud services, infrastructure, global staffing and mentoring, contract negotiations, and network security. Scott believes that you need to assess the complete infrastructure not just one part to develop the roadmap to the future state. In the first 17 years of Scott’s career he worked in all facets of the Telecom and Internet Service Providers (ISP, cloud) world. Scott started in sales and quickly moved up the ranks to Channel Manager and Sales Engineer for large corporate accounts. Within five years he progressed to be the COO/CIO of a small start-up ISP in the Phoenix area. Scott quickly helped the company grow to the second largest privately held ISP in Arizona by using his contacts and his knowledge of Cloud based services. Since moving to Colorado Scott has used his knowledge of the carrier world to help multiple Fortune 500 companies save money on their current networks and infrastructure and designed the roadmaps for their infrastructure future. Scott also expanded his expertise beyond network and infrastructure to include network security, industrial/warehouse operational network technology (OT), global management and global budgeting. Scott also has a broad range of experience on all sides of mergers and acquisitions. Scott grew up in Oregon where he attended college at the University of Oregon. After college he move to Arizona and got married to his wife Rehanne and had two lovely daughters who are both in High School in Centennial, Colorado. In his spare time Scott enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
