My strength is data-driven decision-making and business strategy. I use data to identify business growth opportunities and solve complex problems. Moreover, I believe that the client is in the center of a business, so it is crucial to see beyond the data, gain insight into the user perspective and incorporate this into each decision. So I was building a culture, which required combining the scientific method with creativity to find solutions to unique and challenging questions from a user-centric perspective. We implemented this in practice by using a learn-build-measure framework. I applied this way of thinking at Vinted (second-hand fashion marketplace) and proved that such an approach is very fruitful when I delivered multiple projects, which served as a cornerstone for the successful growth of the company. These projects include international shipping, new market priorities, and go-to-market strategies, new categories, the merger of kids and adult products, rebranding in Germany, analysis of competitors’, marketing efficiency tracking, and many more. Additionally, I built and scaled a department consisting of high-performing strategy, user research, data science, and analytics units from 3 members to more than 60. By building optimal organizational design, hiring the right people, and training them, I scaled data-driven decision-making across the whole company. As Vinted is an international company operating in many markets, I was exposed to a multicultural team and have insights about European and North American markets and customers. I am a hardworking professional, always going the extra mile, and I am not afraid of taking responsibility. These traits combined with my resilience led to my rapid growth from a data scientist into the executive of the first unicorn in Lithuania.
