The Requirements

Previously, Mascot Online was dealing with CSV data coming daily from various sales channels. Every source had a unique structure that was not manipulable. To solve for this, Mascot Online needed to create a number of workflows, through a number of different reporting software products, including data ingestion logic that produced accurate and automated reporting.

The Process

Mascot Online’s Head of ecommerce Ondrej Hradec turned to MeasureMatch, submitted his services requirements and quickly received a number of expressions of interest from Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio and BigQuery pros from across the MeasureMatch network of specialist agencies, consultancies and solopreneur consultants spanning 60+ countries.

A highly rated consultant, Justin, ultimately won Ondrej's and Mascot's confidence, and they swiftly agreed to a scope, pricing and a contract for the required work, all seamlessly done via the MeasureMatch platform.

The Result

Justin worked closely with the Mascot team, supported by the MeasureMatch team, to develop an automated data pipeline which moved data sets from the sales channels used by the company into a Google Data Studio + BigQuery data warehouse. He then cleaned and aggregated data, making it possible to leverage it using a number of data visualization tools. Justin provided training to important stakeholders across the organization, including BigQuery usage guidance and how to build powerful reports in Tableau.
