2016

The idea & seed financing

After 10 intense years in digital marketing agencies in Seattle and London, plus another 6 years building marketing technology and analytics ventures, MeasureMatch's Founder & CEO, James Sandoval, realized there must be a better way for business leaders to more easily and more quickly advance their uses of SaaS and enterprise software systems, and to create more and better value from the mountains of data these systems collect.

Amazingly, a couple of industry friends also thought a marketplace was a good idea and they offered to give James a tranche of funding to start building.

2016

Platform development starts

Together with a software development agency partner, we started to build a Minimum Viable Product. The initial focus was to solve for marketing technology and related analytics business requirements, but we had our eyes squarely set on much bigger opportunities.

2018

First marketplace contracts

Nearly 1.5 years from when we started platform development we started to see clients sign up, submit their services requirements, open discovery conversations with service providers and, magic, enter into contracts.

Our first client was a Head of Ecommerce and she was amazing. Not only was her experience an excellent one, she was so excited about what we were building that she gave us heaps of product feedback and ideas for improvement. This happens regularly today, too.

2019

The Partner Exchange emerges

From the very beginning we knew that software vendors had a role to play, and value to add, in our buyer/seller transactional marketplace platform. So, we introduced a set of tools, the Partner Exchange, (formerly called Partner Hubs), for software organizations to grow and deepen customer success through verified service provider partners i.e. agencies, consultancies, systems integrators and independent consultants.

The Partner Exchange is core to the value derived by business leaders in need of systems & data services to compete more effectively, by agencies and consultancies hungry to demonstrate their capabilities and for growth, and by other organizations that also need to lean into good partners for growth. Each relationship fuels vibrant growth and customer success inside and outside of the MeasureMatch platform.

First $100k projects & contracts

Numbers like these tell us that we can be a trusted partner to get important, potentially game-changing work done. We're aiming to serve the first $1+ million project within 18 months, or sooner.
